What exactly is alcohol -free fuel?

What I want to ask is, is it completely alcoholless substance? What if it is not alcohol, then what is the medium that burns and heating? For example, alcohol -based fuel is basically methanol, ethanol, etc.! What is the main fuel without mellow?
